Hola, soy Carla.
What does Spanish mean to me? It is much more than just a language. Spanish is culture, warmth, personality, music, food, unforgettable landscapes, passion, adventures, and history. There are more than 20 countries in the world that speak, live and represent this beautiful language.
For the past 20 years it has been my passion to teach Spanish and promote its instruction. My students begin by building a foundation in the language, then evolve to personalize their interests and identify themselves within the culture.
My goal as an instructor is to provide my students the opportunity to master Spanish language and communication in ways that are inspiring, encouraging and cultivating.

Beginner (B)
Aimed at students without knowledge of the language. The objective of this course is the introduction of the basic elements of the language.
Intermediate (I)
Aimed at students who, knowing the basics of the language, can delve into the understanding of their verbal capacity, using them in different contexts.
Advance (A)
Aimed at students who manage the knowledge of the different tenses. The objective of the course is to review the grammar learned and use it in conversation.

She has a system that works. Her classes are a combination of written and spoken. She teaches the verbs and the vocabulary in context and also, she writes notes for us to copy. We read books as well and discussed the verb tenses used. She is such a nice person overall and she achieves results. I learned a lot from her!
