As a Spanish teacher living in Toronto and providing Spanish lessons, I’m always looking for accessible resources my students can use to learn new vocabulary, understanding the musicality behind Spanish language and reinforcing grammar. Poems are very useful and depending on the level, you will be able to approach them and understanding the core of the language in a beautiful and fun way.

Here it;s my list of Hispanic poets whose poetry is accessible for a person who’s Spanish is not its mother tonge language. They are great for undertanding, enjoying and apprecciating its culture and escence.
