1. Always speak to them in the mother-tongue language you want they to learn
2. Let them use the tablet, watch cartoons, and videos in this language
3. Teach them and play songs along.
4. Read Goodnight stories with them.
5. Tell your family to always speak to them in this language (it’s a teamwork)
6. Show them there are other great people in this world that speak the same (through music, food, history, culture and traditions).
7. Travel with them to the same speaking countries.
8. Explain to people who don’t speak the language, you are raising a bilingual kid. You are not doing it to make them to feel excluded.
9. If they reply to you in the other language, translate to them how they would say that in yours and make them repeat after you.
10. Never give up!!!! Be patient, disciplined and perseverant with them and yourself. Even if they don’t reply to you in this language. Keep going! Their brain muscle is absorbing the language.
